When you are a victim of regular bouts of anxiety and liable to suffer symptoms such as panic attacks at the provocation of fairly insignificant (once in perspective) trigger events then you may indeed be suffering from Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). This medically recognized disorder can be severely debilitating and make it difficult to live a normal life. It is important for GAD sufferers to seek appropriate advice and assistance to get heir illness properly diagnosed and treated.
ASKING FOR HELP CAN BE DIFFICULT
However, many anxiety sufferers do not feel inclined to have to seek medical or psychological help. It can be a huge hurdle coming to terms with the fact that what you are subject to is a form of psychological illness. To be fair you may well be one of those people who can eventually overcome your anxiety symptoms by employing a self-help course of action.
